I'm a long-time modeler that rekindled a childhood hobby in 1992. I especially enjoy the craftsmanship of making my own parts and detailing with materials at hand. I also like to experiment with paint finishes and weathering techniques. I share my experiences so that others may also learn just as I do. I'm an active member of the Armor Modeling & Preservation Society (AMPS) and our local chapter, AMPS Central Virginia that I helped to start in 1997.

Editor - AMPS Boresight magazine: In 2009, I was appointed to be the AMPS Publications Editor. I was editor of Boresight magazine until July of 2015. During that time, the magazine was converted to full-color and brought to professional standards.

Military Illustrated Modeller: My Stridsvagen S103C article appeared in issue 44, 2014.

Tamiya Model Magazine International: My A7V Sturmpanzerwagen article appeared in issue 132, 2006.

Fine Scale Modeler: In the February 2003 issue, I contributed an article describing how a scruffy winter whitewash can be depicted using pastel chalks.

Military Miniatures In Review: I was a regular contributor from 2000-2006. I wrote complete buildup reviews and photographed the steps to the final product.
